Exploring the unknown can be very dangerous and it often requires people to make sacrifices. When people venture into the wild for explorations of the unknown they might face rugged areas such as steep tall mountains, or frigid climates such as the Antarctic. They need to be prepared to face life-threatening obstacles and they need to be confident in their ability to succeed. Some wily or smart explorers equipped with the right supply of food and durable clothing have conquered once unknown areas such as Mt. Everest and the Antarctic. Others, even though they thought they were well-prepared, have not survived.
This week you will learn that adapting to harsh climates means overcoming obstacles, learning to use the right tools and supplies, and having the determination to cooperate and succeed.
