CAINE MONROYAt the age of 9, Caine Monroy spent a lot of time at his dad's used auto parts store in East Los Angeles. Inspired by all the empty cardboard boxes, he got the idea to build something out of it. He started with just a simple basketball game, but his ideas quickly grew into an elaborate arcade including a miniature soccer game, ski ball, and even a claw machine. Caine was really proud of his arcade and he couldn’t wait to have his first costumer. However, his dad's auto part store didn’t get very many visitors and the people that came through were always in too much of a hurry to stop to play. Caine never had a single customer, but he never gave up. He kept creating new games, redesigning the old ones, and waited for the day someone would stop and play.
